Jamie LaRue

Jamie is the executive director of the Garfield County Public Library District. He’s been a librarian for a long time, but has only lived in Garfield County since May of 2022. LaRue is also an author (On Censorship: A Public Librarian Examines Cancel Culture in the US, Fulcrum, 2007) and a frequent speaker on censorship, leadership, organizational development, and the future of libraries.
