Volunteer Your Time And Skills

If you’re looking to make an impact in your community, consider volunteering with the Glenwood Springs Historical Society. Volunteers are essential to the success of the society’s events and programs, and the society is always in need of volunteers with a variety of skill sets, such as writing, research, data entry, museum staffing, and event planning.

Currently, as of August 2025, the society has need for volunteers to:

  • help at the museum’s welcome desk;
  • help complete computer data entry and other tasks related to artifacts, photographs and documents;
  • help staff upcoming special events, including the Ghost Walk fundraiser in October.

Scheduling is flexible, with no prior museum experience needed. Contact the society to learn more about how you can help preserve Glenwood Springs’ history by calling 970-945-4448 or by sending a message using our contact page.
